I started working in Industry for a manufacturing company before moving into an accountancy practice where I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant. In 1995 I started my own accountancy practice and have seen it grow which gives me great pride in the work we do.

I enjoy skiing having been asked to go many years ago by a friend and it has become something that I now wouldn’t want to give up. I also enjoy gardening and building things. I have two children, now fully grown, who have gone off to do wonderful things.

I joined McMillan Rose & Co in 2021 and haven’t looked back. Since starting with the firm, I’ve completed my AAT qualification, officially becoming a qualified accountant, and after a well-earned year away from studying, I’m now back on the books, hopefully for the final time!

I’m currently over halfway through my ACCA journey, following in Mark’s footsteps with the goal of becoming a Chartered Accountant. I consider myself very lucky to genuinely love what I do, and a big part of that comes from the variety my role brings — no two days are ever the same.

Outside of work (or studying!), you’ll usually find me coaching at the local gymnastics club or with my nose in a good book. I also love travelling and snowboarding and have been fortunate enough to visit some incredible places over the years doing both.

Chloë Wheeler

I am a CIMA Chartered Accountant with a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance, bringing experience across a range of in-house finance roles. My career has progressed from Finance Assistant to Corporate Tax Analyst for a large London-based media corporation.

My role at McMillan Rose has enabled me to build strong, long-term relationships with clients and truly understand their businesses. The close-knit, collaborative environment allows me to be hands-on and deliver a high level of personal service. It’s rewarding to see the direct impact of my work and to be part of a team that genuinely values quality and client care.

Outside of work I enjoy running as a way to stay active and it gives me time to reset and refocus. I also have two young children, so much of my time is happily spent with them.

Isabelle

I began my career in accounting in October 2025 and I am currently studying towards my Level 2 AAT qualification. I really enjoy the variety the role brings while gaining hands-on experience where no two days are the same. Having grown up with a mum who works in accounting, I’ve always had an appreciation for the profession and it has allowed me to progress into a career of my own.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading and travelling, experiencing different cultures whenever I can.
